Bishop-designate Chino L. Walters. Ph.D., is the Senior Pastor and establishmentarian of the Greater Morning Star Apostolic Church of Waldorf, Maryland. He is a licensed and ordained minister with the Apostolic Faith Fellowship International, Inc. (AFFI). He serves on the executive level as a member of the AFFI Convention Management Team, Director of Information Technology, Director of Protocol, and Adjutant General of the National Adjutancy Corps.
Bishop-designate Walters has been in ministry for 25 years and has served as the senior pastor of Greater Morning Star Apostolic Church for 12 years. In 2020, he was appointed and consecrated to the office of District Elder in the Episcopal District One Council of the Apostolic Faith Fellowship International, Inc., and in November of 2025, he was elevated to Bishop-designate and appointed to the office of Non-Diocesan Bishop. Bishop-designate Walters holds a Bachelor’s and Master of Science degree in Information Technology, as well as a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University.
Bishop-designate Walters has been married to Lady Tamara Walters for over 21 years and is the proud father of three (3) lovely children: Isaiah, Cheyenne, and Ashlyn Walters. Bishop-designate Walters desire is to fulfill his Kingdom assignment by impacting a generation through the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
