One persistent challenge for Oneness Pentecostal lay members is the ability to clearly articulate and defend our beliefs, as well as the theological rationale for our embrace of monotheism. For many years, both new converts and mature believers have often offered responses such as, “It’s in the Bible”, “I was taught this way”, or “You just need to believe it” when discussing these tenets with non-monotheistic believers. However, they often struggle to provide a clear explanation of the foundational reasons for our faith. The purpose of this book is not to equip the reader to win arguments or debates. Instead, it aims to deepen their understanding and enhance their confidence through a simplified, systematic approach to comprehending and articulating basic scriptural teachings that uphold the revelation of Jesus as God in the flesh, all from a monotheistic perspective.
