New Year Consecration

WHAT IS FASTING:

Fasting is denying your flesh of natural desires for a period of time while devoting that time strictly to God. With the proper motive, and through prayer and fasting, the Holy Spirit can transform your life. Therefore, during this time, we ought to seek God’s face and not His hand, with a broken, repentant, and contrite heart.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS FAST:

• For spiritual revival and increased faith; spiritual growth and direction

• For the saving and restoration of souls; personal breakthroughs and deliverances

• For our children, families, and marriages; Pastor and church family

• For Miracles, Signs and Wonders

WHEN YOU FAST:

• Focus and meditate on the Word of God.

• Sing songs of praise and worship.

• Increase your prayer time, and pray specifically.

• Keep a journal during prayer and meditation times.

• Be committed and determined to finish.
